Dr Duncan L. Hamilton

Duncan L. Hamilton is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough and Visiting Professor at the University of Sunderland School of Medicine. He has a special interest in Regional Anaesthesia. He has previously held appointments as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, and as a Visiting Professor in Anesthesiology at Washington University in St Louis. He is an examiner for the final Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the European Diploma in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. He is an editor of the journal BJA Education.
