The Winter Scientific Meeting will be held on 20th December in the Human Anatomy Resource Centre (HARC), Sherrington Building, Ashton Street, University of Liverpool, L69 3GE, and is hosted by Dr Alistair Bond, Senior Lecturer in Anatomy and Deputy Director of the HARC.
The meeting will include a talks from two speakers:
- Prof Lyndon Mason, Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be discussing Ankle fractures in a talk titled "Ankle fractures, a journey to better outcomes".
- Mr Andrew Schache, Reader in Head & Neck Surgery and Hon. Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon, University of Liverpool and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will give a talk titled "Surgeons who only learn anatomy from books should only operate on books".

Registration
Closing date for registration is 12th December 2022, 17.00 (BST).
Late registration will incur additional fees (£70) and may include restrictions.
Privacy and Data Protection
BACA will hold your personal data for the purposes of administering our contract with you to attend our meeting, as per Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. We will hold records electronically (and paper) to confirm you are an attendee at the meeting, to manage payment, and for general information and functioning of the meeting. We will also pass on your details to the host institution running the meeting in collaboration with BACA for functioning of the meeting. If you have given BACA an email address we will use that to contact you to administer our contract with you to attend the meeting, and if not BACA will use your postal mail address. We will only use your phone number in the event we are unable to contact you by other means. BACA does not send marketing material to non-members after our events are completed.
Membership
Non-Members attending BACA meetings will be offered as part of the pre-conference information, a membership application form. This is to ensure that meeting attendees are given the opportunity to join the association to be eligible for the Member-only prizes available at our Events. Refunds
BACA will, in exceptional circumstance, refund a registration fee in full, subject to an administrative fee, prior to the closure of registration date. After this date, no fee can be refunded.
